I don't care what my baby looks like, I will always love him/her no matter what. I know some are shallow and will look specifically for guy of a certain ethnicity just to make cute babies. But for me, I am just CURIOUS and IMPATIENT (about everything in general) and cannot wait to find out.

So...I am "white" with pretty pale skin, blue eyes, and dirty-ish blonde hair. My guy is Mexican; jet black hair, brown eyes, and relatively dark skin.

The thing is, I don't think I know what a half-white/half-Mexican (or any Hispanic) baby looks like. I've seen a lot of 100% Mexican babies in my time, all of whom are like the most adorable creatures ever. I know you can't predict what color eyes/hair/skin/features our baby is going to have, but can somebody at least fill me in on how the ones look that they have seen?

Once again, not that it matters. Just super curious and antsy...really won't care once I actually see the baby ; )

Your child will be gorgeous! All your babies will be so beautiful!
I have a mixed race baby granddaughter! She is the most beautiful baby girl in the whole world... She is dark haired, dark eyed, and looks alot like her daddy, but he is muy guapo (handsome!) anyway.... Her mom is very beautiful too! Your baby whether a boy or girl will be your pride and joy from now on!
Take good care of yourself and your baby on the way... and give the sweet father to be a lot of love too... teach the child to know and love both cultures, pray every night to know how to be a good parent to your child ...best wishes to you and your family!

Hi! My daughter is mixed the same way. She got my husbands dark eyes and super long eye lashes and that's about it. She has light brown hair and a medium skin tone. I know that while I was pregnant I was worried about what she would look like. When she was born, she was the most beautiful baby ever, and still is!!! Good luck and Congrats! Don't listen to moron who said the thing about being illegal. Most people think all Mexicans are illegal. They don't realize that some go through years of paper work to finally become a citizen.

As I'm adopted...I know I'm at least, 1/2-3/4 Mexican!!!

I have many mixed relatives...Generally the dark will be dominate.

Although both of my children, until about 5 yrs. of age...Were blonde headed, with dark brown eyes. My daughter's hair stayed a fairly light brown...While my son's became very dark, almost black!!! Both also had/have very fair skin and, freckles!!! Yet, both tan excellent!!!

Well, its not really separate races here. Mexicans could be Indians or Spanish or Mixed. Spanish are Europeans, but some are dark like Italians and Greeks others are light like French and Germans.

My mother is Spanish from New Mexico and my dad was English and Scottish. I think we all turned out fine. Some of us are light skinned some of us are dark. We all have dark hair and eyes, although when young some of my sisters had lighter hair which got darker as they got older. Some of the nieces and nephews have blue eyes but most have dark hair.

I think your child will be beautiful.

Your child will most likely have dark hair and a beautiful olive complextion. Most Mexicans are of mixed indian and spanish blood and there are quite a few with mixed black and indian. in either case, if your "guy" is of spanish blood, there is a chance he could carry a blue or green eyed gene so you may have a 1 in 8 chance of having a black haired blue eyed beauty.
as far as facial features are concerned, sharpe angular lines tend to become softened in mixed races. and rounded features become sharper.
I find that people of mixed "race" have a better chance of getting "good looking" genes (i myself am of phillipino, spanish, german, english stock and am quite good looking if i do say so myself) so be prepared
and no matter what the child looks like, You will still love him/her.

Depends on the genes. My mom was white, my dad Mexican. I have light skin...and turn a Golden light brown color during the summer months. I have dark brown hair and dark brown eyes. My kids are mixed the same, my daughter came out the darkest with really dark hair and eyes, my two boys are both very white and burn sooooooo easily, they have light brown hair and brown to hazel eyes. It just depends on whatever God wanted to bless you with that day. Either way your baby will be beautiful! Congrats on your soon to be new arrival :) Enjoy.

I'm an elementary teacher and one of my most memorable students was half white (mother) and half Mexican (father). Except for my own children, of course, she was the most beautiful little girl I had ever seen. She had jet black hair, brown eyes, long black eyelashes, and skin that looked like a white girl's with a perfect tan. Your baby is going to be gorgeous! Congratulations!

My friend is white and her husband is Mexican. they have two sons. The kids are lighter than their father, but not by much. The older they get and the more they are exposed to the sun the darker they will get. They both inherited the dark hair and brown eyes. They are very handsome little boys.
I think that in enter-racial relationship that it is very important to teach the children about BOTH of their back grounds. Like teaching them both English and Spanish, how to bake an apple pie and make tamales. Try to keep both cultures alive as best you can, that way they can teach their kids and both of your traditions can live on.
Good luck and congrates!

My niece is 1/2 white 1/2 hispanic. She looks exactly like her dad. Lighter complexion and light brown hair, but she looks hispanic like her dad does. Most kids take the dominant traits of their parents. Dark hair, eye, and skin color tends to be the dominant traits.

My nephew on the other hand is 1/2 white and 1/2 philipino. His dad has dark hair, eyes, and skin and my nephew has medium brown hair, olive skin, and blue eyes. My sister has brown hair, green eyes, and with the american indian in our family line she can get pretty dark.

So, you never know...but most likely your baby will favor the father.

Enjoy your baby!
