The climate in the world change fast. More storms, more cold winters, more earthquakes etc. What you think happens when people realize how short time we have back. Do you think anyone then want to buy a house? Do you think the birth rate will fall?

Nothing will be different except the climate. and that has always been changing and always will. Every time there is an earthquake the continental plates shift. Sometimes a few feet at a time. 10,000 years from now the USA may be as cold as Canada, or as warm as south America. All depending on which way the shift occurs...

How many major hurricanes did we have this year? Where are your "more storms,"

And what the heck do earthquakes have to do with climate change?

Please read some books and articles on climate change before making public statements. For your own good. Educating yourself will make you an effective public advocate for whatever cause you support.

And if you're open minded, you may even discover that your assumptions were wrong to begin with. Just be open minded.

I think housing will become even more of an issue as the climate changes. Demand will increase for better construction methods, and lots of beach dwellers will want new homes when the ones they are in are blown away by ever-increasingly strong hurricanes. I'm sure some politician will get elected on a platform that we'll all share in that cost, even though we don't live there.

OK, I read also that Europe have more storms than ever before. More rain and flood than ever before. I understand your question.

The birth rate will automatic fall and no one will be interesting in buying houses. House prices will fall dramatic.

But what is short time.....20 years, 50 years?

People are people and as long as its in the media they will care. Once dropped by the media they will forget. Money runs the world not common sense or caring about the future that is unless the future revolves around money.
