what is the correct term for "driver"?

if you want to get a driving/delivering job, driving a smaller truck that you dont have to have a cdl for, what is the term companies use instead of driver. ive heard it before but i forgot.

It could be delivery operator or courier. We just call them drivers or if they have shown poor skills wannabees.
