Scorpio and Cancer or Scorpio and Gemini? The Scorpio in both is female while the Cancer and Gemini are male, if that matters at all. Please explain your answer.

I'd say scorpio and Gemini, as they both usually have complex lives, realities, are selective with their informaiton and can drive the more blunt signs(taurus, Cancer, and Sagittarius) completely crazy. Beware of deceit.
Though really, go with whom you're most compatable, forget about the astrology stuff.

I'm a Scorpio and my wife is an Aries we have a great relationship... the S** is great and we have a good understanding. she is not a clingy woman she is independent and I love that about her also she is very nurturing and she is a great mom and I love her for all those reasons... but in the signs they say we are not a perfect match but I think we were meant for each other I love her no matter what sign she was ......
