I'm planning on doing a Depeche Mode flash project for a friend on her birthday in a few weeks. I'm pretty good in flash but the thing is, and I've asked similar questions, I'm confused about which song to get...to be honest all of them sound horrible to me (not saying its bad, but i just dont like this style of music). Anyway can anyone give me some decent songs I can sample and try out?

As Carol R says try 101 and also try the Violator album. A bit old but I think it's pretty good.

anything of violator, especially enjoy the silence. for a newer song, i'd use dream on. couple years old, but still amazing

they released a cd called remixes 81-04 that has some great versions on it , personal jesus would be my suggestion. although any version would work for what you have in mind........good luck! hope your friend likes it !
