After examining all those diverse thoughts, it were given right here about to me that the concern might want to ok don't have some thing to do with the OS, viruses, or any of that diverse nonsense. in elementary words placed, it might want to probable be a topic which consists of what I had it sluggish in the previous. i replaced into experiencing an same hassles, the in elementary words element i could do replaced into to close it down and take a research out again later Lo and behold, i keen to get a larger no longer worry-free pressure in the right, I put in it and the concern disappeared. WHY? it type of feels that the concern replaced into that the HDD replaced into at fault. A techie recommended me after sorting out it, that a capacitor (a thingie that holds a charge for a diverse length of time) interior the HDD replaced into no longer functioning and as a outcome it replaced into overheating and closing itself down. answer: Get yet another HDD, setting up the OS, setting up all of your backups and/or reinstall any classes or video games you want. fairly some paintings, yet even with the actuality that, a comp. is in basic terms really hardware, it might want to and does damage down through no fault of your guy or female. ;-)

Since the risk of lost data is higher on the laptop, connect the two and use the old computer to backup your important data frequently.

Mail it to me...I can use it with my students. I work with seniors teaching them computer skills and helping them send and receive pictures from relatives and friends far away. The seniors do not have computers of their own...this is a community service center at a senior housing project. Most of the seniors struggle with paying for food OR medicine. It is nice to be able to help them keep in contact with others far away. www.stgn.org. Tell them Rebecca sent this e-mail...that's me.
p.s.its tax deductable.

some companies have electronics recycling services, so you should try to recycle your old computer. you can also try selling it to someone - put an ad in the paper or sell it on ebay.
you have a computer for all your other rooms???? sorry, couldn't help but notice that. you should really try to cut down!

Donate it to a school, afterschool program, homeless shelter, community center, program to help homeless, domestic violence victims, single parents who are in need of a computer, give it to a child or family on one of those lists who need an Xmas present.
Make sure you clean your hard drive first.

You could make it a server. So all your computers could connect to it anywhere with a internet connection, back up to it, use it as a print server.
Or just sell it. But i think a server would be the best option.

If you can't sell or donate your old computer, take it to your local tip. But wipe the hard drive first to get rid of your info!

Wipe the hard drive clean, reinstall the OS and donate it to a school, or try to sell it on e-bay.
Even better, donate it to the person in the previous answer!!!

sell it on ebay. . . people often search around for parts of computers to build new ones. Or donate it to a school, or a good will.
