Most women will not resume their period after giving birth if they are breast-feeding. I assume your wife is no longer breast-feeding at this point. She should see a gynecologist and have a proper examination and blood test to determine what might be wrong.

There is a condition called Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) it is very common, I have it, it prevents women from having regular cycles. There is no cure for it but there is treatment options once a diagnosis has been determined. If you want more children a fertility doctor will be involved if you are finished with children they will often suggest birth control pills to prevent some of the other unplesant effects of this condition.
Best of Luck!

Have they tested her hormone levels? Is she either very skinny or overweight? That too can change cycles. Did she or is she still breast feeding? I'd go to a gynecologist and see what they recommend as next steps.

How old is your wife?

Personally, I'd be glad to not have my period any more!

Good luck!

i do know that pcos can happen, and can cause theses symptons. my sister has it, and she is infertile, she still has a peroid, just never really on a basic cycle.i hope that is not the case for your wife. she doesn need to see a gyno. and they can hopefully rule it out. well , congrats on the baby! take care.
