If they don't ask, they don't need to know, so don't volunteer that information. Some companies won't give you serious consideration unless you provide them with salary history, but if this is the case they will ask for it in the application process, or will ask in the interview. You can refuse to answer, but that won't make a great impression. The chances are if you're interviewing with a very big company they'll have a good idea what you make, or should make anyway. Not only do you not need to tell them how much you make but in most states your present employer can not state your exact amount of salary if asked. He can however give a ballpark amount.

yes you need to tell the truth and it will set you free because sometimes it seem to come back 7 times more when you dont do right,God will bless you more that way also. You never tell false information on things that you have to sign because it puts you in more danger then any thing else.
