I was an ugly teenager and I became attractive in my early 20s but the tides turned and I've been ugly from my late 20s on. I am 30 and have yet to get that attractive body back but I haven't given up hope. I dream of having the body I did when I was 21 and sometimes I want it so bad I could die. There's nothing wrong with staring at yourself in the mirror dude. Cherish the body you have and try to get as many girls as possible because you never know if you'll look geeky again. I would also recomend taking a lot of pictures of yourself because you might want them as memories if you ever become geeky again.

There is nothing wrong with having confidence with how you look especially if you have had the "geeky" teenage period and have alot of making up to do. Beware thought appreciate your looks dont take it too far and rememder who you are a geeky girl in the corner could be a princess and the women of your dreams make sure you dont miss her.

It sounds like you're close but that you're realized that you are close to the edge. Do take a sense of pride in your body but don't let it go to your head/ego either.....since that can be unattractive to others.
Signs of going to far -- staring for hours at yourself in the mirror or in pictures, kissing the mirror often Missing dates with friends due to being too busy to walk away from the mirror.

It's healthier to check yourself in the mirror only when you need to (shaving, dressing etc.) But when (if) you find yourself lost in mirror contemplation, don't worry, just get yourself something else to do. Being overly interested in, and fascinated by, your own appearance, and being overly conscious of your good looks, might undermine your ability to pay attention to other people. In other words, you might become too self-centred. Girls don't like that.

Please do enjoy being at your best. Milk it for all it's worth, because one day, you'll have a pudge around your mid-section, and a perpetual 5 o'clock shadow. But that's all right, because that's just life.
I would, however, advise a little discretion. You WILL come across as cocky, and that'll give you a negative reputation. Don't primp in public, and don't brag about your looks. Let others compliment you, but maintain your modesty.

People who love themselves are not capable of knowing love at all. Personality is more important than looks, if you look good then be modest, it,s much more attractive to the opposite sex. I knew a guy who had a chin like a shovel, tall, skinny, but he won hands down with the girls. Looks are fleeting, personality is not.

Just remember, there will come a day again when you won't be happy with your appearance. Do not place your value in things that are fleeting. Work on your inner self and being happy with who you are.

talking about yourself, looking at yourself in the mirror every time there's a mirror around, not asking about other people...basically if you stop thinking you're the hottest and the best, then you'll stop coming across that way. how you think generally reflects how you act.

you've gone too far. Admire yourself in privacy, and just let people notice how "attractive" you might be and don't tell them. It'll make you a lot more attractive.

Perhaps you've been looking at yourself for so long you've fallen in love with yourself, and we know that people put the person they love on a pedestal.
