I really wanna help my friend cuz im like the only one he can trust at all... he has a gf but he is dumping her for me... cuz he cant trust her and she doesnt give him enough stabilty...
He has been though alot and so have i am so we get eachother... really well... but i am outgoing and fun and hyper cuz I hide the bad shiz but he shows it like he wont smile or laugh and he barely talks I mean to me he does but ppl in general NO WAY! but i will just go up to anyone and say hi... is it wrong to wanna help him not be as shy around ppl and wanna help him trust ppl more??<3

Well not at all. Everyone is different, he is a shy person let him be that way. he will realize that he needs to put the past behind and let it show in a different way instead of letting the real feelings out. Just let him be him for now, he will realize it, if he doesnt then you show em' whose boss! good luck!

Nope. But you should really find out what the problem really is. Some people are shy because they feel intimidated by others. And there are other people who are shy because they have an anti-social disorder and do not trust very many people if any. There can be lots of reasons why someone is shy. Maybe they feel they are not very interesting, or they could feel that everyone else is not very interesting.
So Yes you should help him. That is what friends are for. But you really should talk with him about his problem and find out how he really feels towards all these people. You could be right in thinking that it is because he has been hurt alot in the past. Or he may be suffering from the anti-social disorder. The best course for you is to talk things over with him. Get him to open up. This will help you the most in coming up with a plan of action that will help him the most and will not offend him.
