A short-lived band that made its mark and then self destructed. A classic example of rock and roll excess and battling egos. When the band first hit the music scene, they brought back the no frills, in your face, down and dirty atmosphere that was sorely needed back in rock. They put on kick-*** shows, recorded some excellant albums, and amassed a large fan base. We can at least be thankful for the solo projects that have developed from the bowels of the beast.

I thought they were at their peak in 1988, but since then they slowly faded. Axl Rose was always arrogant, and they used to make the audience wait for hours for live shows to begin. I think much more highly of the music than the band. But still, the old CD is collecting dust as I haven't listened to it in quite awhile.

Guns N' Roses are my favorite band..and they really rocked..there really wasn't a man on this world who didn't know 'bout them or their songs..others can talk what they want 'bout them..but just to know Appetite For Destruction was named the best hard rock album ever..and Welcome To the Jungle was named as hymn of rock..not to mention Sweet Child O'mine, November Rain and Don't Cry are some of best songs to people who personally never listen to rock music..and even greatest fan of Bob Dylan will say that Guns version of Knockin' of Heaven's Door is better..same as people say this is the best cover made song ever..
They were Gods then but their songs will remain forever..

They are my favorite band. I like their rough style and tough attitude. Axl rose and slash are gods. How about you, what do you think?

they used to be good, but now they are pretty pathetic considering its taken Axl all these years to release one album, and its STILL not released. And he acts like a primadonna, which is even more of a turn off.

I think I liked them in the sixth grade. I still think a couple songs are OK.
