Chamber of Commerce, and then we just have the plain

are over 60 openly proclaimed Black Colleges in the
US, yet if there were "White colleges" that would be a

Why is it that only whites can be racists?

We wouldn't want to make any of the other races feel "Uncomfortable" in any way. Whites have no feelings so feeling "Uncomfortable" is not an option.

Dude you have everything else, and I mean every organization, channel, commerce avenue, college fund access, political backing, and day of the year that was not mentioned. The violence and insults you mentioned should not be tolerated or encouraged by anyone. They do exist but we should get rid of them. You should be proud of your heritages positive achievements. Whites are not the only racists, believe me! The observance of the months dedicated to those groups mentioned are to promote unity between Americans, announcing to minorities that they do belong and count in this country. Whites just happen to have a 200 year advantage in this country, with many resources provided exclusively to whites in years past. Minorities are just beginning to level the playing field the fairest way available.

Yes. I would consider you racist as I would consider anybody else that has a problem with others because of their race. If it makes your perspective of the society easier to understand by blaming everyone else for the ills of world according to race, then go ahead and think that way. Just know that if you yell a derogatory epithet or slur in my face without even knowing a thing about me other than the color of my skin, hair, or shape of my nose then you are a racist and you will likely be treated with the same contempt and disrespect you have for others not because of your race, but because you're a flat out jerk for doing it. The long list of crap you just mentioned shows just how narrow your current perception is on other ethnic groups because you are assuming they are all the same. Most of what you wrote seems to target blacks in particular but it's funny how you also throw in racial slanders for all ethnic groups besides whites and throw them in the same boat so to speak. Unfortunately you seem to be venting your frustrations on other races and perpetuating the problem by buying into the negative stereotypes when in reality the majority of people are just trying to live their lives, do their jobs, and pursue the liberty and happiness this country has to offer. I have friends from all different walks of life and I can tell you that race is not a big deal if you live life with an open mind. Guess what? When you know and respect the people around you, you don't have to be politically correct because they know you and you know them regardless of what they are. Yes, there are racists of all walks of life too, but once you realize that they are just as ignorant as you are, then you start to understand how they think of you as well. Just try to put yourself into someone else's shoes for once and maybe you'll understand, but first you need to think with an open mind. For all the negatives you mentioned, there are a lot more positive contributions whites, blacks, asians, and latinos do in this country that goes unheralded because sadly, nobody cares when things go right and they only pay attention to the negative side which is only half the story.

Excellent question. I was almost kicked out of college for stating that white people HAVE to be racist, because we are the only ones who CAN be. everyone else is just "ethnically proud" or full of their "own culture".
