I'd have to LA Confidential you couldn't tell the good cops from the bad cops just when you thought you had it figured out a good cop turns bad. I didn't want to report anything to the police after that afraid that they might make a huge case out of it.

LA Confidential was pretty great. Can't go wrong with Russell Crowe ever and this is one of those noir-ish movies. Its from 1997 and has a great cast (Spacey, Devito, Bassinger, Ron Rifken of Alias fame, David Straitharen of Oscar best actor nominee fame from last year).
Training Day is mentioned here and I love Denzel. Next to Rusell, he is probably my favorite actor, but that movie just isnt that great. He deserved an Oscar about 3 times for other roles and then was given one as a consolation prize.
