I am in my first semester at college, and I am wondering if I can transfer to another school for the January semester or will I have to wait till next year?

You can transfer, but you need to start applying NOW. I wouldn't recommend transferring more than once because it's a lot of paperwork and your credits don't always transfer with you, but if you're unhappy where you are, now is the time to do it!

Yes, you can transfer. Be advised, some institutions allow only a limited number of classes to be transfered. You may have to take your current semester over again at your new school.

I'd be certain to research this BEFORE you make your final decision.

I'm a Junior in College. I am also a transfer student. I graduated from a junior college last May.

It depends on the school, the program you're taking and where you live. In Canada, some schools only intake in September, others do it in September, January, and May. Research the school you want to go to and find out when they intake, and when their application deadlines are. I would do this as quickly as possible, if I were you. Many schools have early deadlines.

Good luck!

yes you can as well as your credits for the classes you're taking. Just make sure you do it on time and pass the class(es).
