I'm 5 feet 10 and my foot size is only 8.5 inches, size 9 shoes is big for me. All my friends wear around size 10 shoes and some are even shorter than I am!! Does this mean that I will shrink in later life or not grow at all from now on due to this small feet?

How old are you now? If you are very young there is still chance to grow ,don't worry .
And you shouldn't ask why because how do we look is not in our hands .
You should be grateful that you have small feet. people who have small feet are very lucky . Think if you really have over size feet !!!!!! In my country, small feet person is regarded as a very lucky . you seem to over conscious about it. small feet are not very big issue in ones life.

I doubt you will shrink in later years. I am 5'7",and wear a size 7. I have been told I have pretty feet by lots of women. So,you should consider yourself lucky. Most men's feet are big,hairy,and ugly.

If you are having constant pain in feet while walking or running you have to consult a doctor.
If you are not having any pain at all then you are having very healthy bones. If the bones in your feet can't endure your body weight they will grow. It is the priniciple behind body building. When you lift weight the stress caused by the weight makes your body to grow muscles and bones to handle future stress.
Having small feet means your foot bones are strong. I too have small feet even though I'm bit overweight I can walk for hours without any pain in my ankles. Whereas one of my friend who is taller than me and lighter than me, he is having large feet but he cannot walk for long. If he does he will sit for hours holding his legs.

It means that you are attractive. I like tall men with small feet, but they are rare. I can't find anything appealing on a guy who has shoes as big as baby-caskets!
Don't ask, just be thankful.
