yes if you are in a secure loving relationship you should be able to tell your partner your feelings no matter what it is.. your feelings are valid and the need to express them is important.. If you hold them in they turn into a resentment and resentments are not healthy.. sometimes it is good to take a step back and process your feelings first so the words come out lovingly instead of hurtful words.....

if your asking should a man open up to his significant other. I say absolutely who better than the one you love. You should feel you can express and talk to her and if your hurt about something yes she should know. just as she would with you.

Just because your a man doesn't mean you should sweep your feelings under a rug or suffer in silence.

and you dont' look weak in her eyes if thats what your hesitant about

Absolutely. It would save a lot of "mind reading". Also, the men should be made to feel safe to do so and not be criticized or ridiculed for being vulnerable.

My guy would, and does. He is very, very open with his feelings and thoughts. I LOVE that about him!
