i own a repair shop, and it may be about time for a good tune up,,the better the car runs the better the gas mileage is going to be on it,and the easier on your wallet its going to be also,,i usually tune all mine up around 15 thousand miles or so,but since you don't know when and if this one has ever been tuned really good ,it might be a good idea to have it checked out really good, especially since winter time is getting here,id take it and have a good mechanic look at it,and see what he says,it cant hurt anything to do this, good luck i hope this help,s.

Yes, we should get oil changes after every 3,000 miles. check your air pressure in your tires, as much as possible, do a transmission check twice a year, radiator flush, rotate and balance your tires, and get a tune-up twice a year or once, it really depend on the spark plug brand you are using. Platinum are more expensive but they are the best. Close to 5.00 a plug.
So to keep your ride in tip top shape we must give them TLC and you'll have a car that won't let you down in Dyer needs. So every thing really depends on how much you drive.

Go ahead and get a traditional tune-up at your favorite shop. Oil and oil filter, air filter, and spark plugs. 1.5 years is not too early.
