The best way to answer that question is go to your doctor. In response to the answer that said you had your period your not pregnant. Not everyones body works the same. I've been pregnant 5 times. With my first two I had a short period in my first month.

I'm sorry you are so nervous about this. Chances are you are not pregnant, but take the test to be sure. From your statement of it being your first experience, I take it you are young. Sometimes young bodies go through cycles that last from 3 to 7 days, that's the norm. All the cravings, nausea and vomiting tiredness are all part of a woman's menstrual cycle. I wouldn't worry so much as to how long it lasts, but if it will take the worry off of you, just go and get a test. And please remember to use protection (condoms hopefully) the next time you decide to have sex. You are not only preventing pregnancy, you are also preventing disease. Maybe you should go to your doctor and talk to him/her. If you could talk to your mom, that would be even better. Good Luck to You!

Ok, wow - what a way to put it. Firstly, you seem to want to know if you're pregnant, your best bet in finding out is to take a test. Whilst I'm not one to recommend abstinence on a religious basis (it's not something I believe in, but kudos to those who stand by their religious convictions), I do recommend YOU abstain until you know a little more about sex, reproduction, and sexually transmitted disease.
FYI: Yes you can get your period and be pregnant, but it is uncommon. You can get sick for reasons other than pregnancy (yes, non-pregnant women, and even men can get the flu). Most people crave one food or another at some point in time. Not getting enough sleep can result in sleepiness (who have thought?). Cold, or cooler weather, or drinking more increase the need to urinate.
If you're scared to take a pregnancy test, then I hope you don't need one, but you should take one anyway. Goodluck.

First of all it scares me to think that you young people now believe in pregnant fairies !!!! WoW! You young girls need a lesson on teen pregnancy bad .With that said, You will be surprised at my answer...........Lets just say your chances are going to be 50/50.............Your period only lasted 4 days because you completely messed up, or changed your normal cycle by having sex.........The fear that you Think you could be pregnant is what is letting you think you are having Nausea, vomiting and other signs......Anything can happen when precaution is not taken to prevent something...........For your sake I hope you are not pregnant......You sound so young and when we are so young, we are also immature......If you are not pregnant in 30 days for next period to start, you need to get on your knees and thank God.........At the same time think what the future would be if you were.......Remember !!For every action,(sex) there is a reaction(baby)...Think b/4 you act.......Because no matter what we all do in our lives, it affects everyone in our family, our friends, etc........Good luck to you! Now get on the internet and read about sex and about having sex without precaution and being ready to be a parent for the next 18 years!

interesting. I say this for 2 reasons. 1) sounds like you had unprotected sex during your ovulation time making it very possible to get pregnant. Your partner does not need to release in order for one Little tadpole to hit the mark. 2) It seems, even if you were to be Pregnant, a bit early to be having so many symptoms but not unheard of. Don't be scared to take the test. either way it has to be done and you need to know. The sooner the better if you are so that you can start taking prenatal vitamins for the health of you and your baby. If you are still young and worried about your parents reaction then make an appointment with planned parenthood. It will be free for you if you are a minor. They will keep it confidential. If you are pregnant then they can help you tell your parents if you'd like them to. If you are in school yet then your school nurse can help you also. Good luck to you either way. If you go to planned parenthood and it is confirmed that you are pregnant be sure to get it confirmed by your Doctor as soon as possible.

I'm no expert, but it doesn't sound like you are pregnant. I know this probably isn't what you want to hear, but it you are not ready to be pregnant (and you obviously aren't), then you shouldn't be having sex because pregnancy is always a possibility. Another concern would be getting an std. Just because he doesn't finish does not mean you cannot catch something. Take a pregnancy test so you can put your worries behind you and really think if it is worth it to do this again.

it seems that you don't want to be pregnant, as you said (I'm scared to take a pregnancy test....) so i would say that if you wanted to be pregnant, and you think your pregnant... but the only way to be sure is to get a Pregnancy test... and I've even seen them at the dollar stores.... so if your low on money and you don't want to spend 15 to 85 dollars on a pregnancy test go to the dollar store... but please for your sake DON'T have unprotected sex!! it will ruin your life, or it will forever change your life if you decide to keep the child.. just remember that....
Elizabeth
p.s. good luck.

You had a period. You are not pregnant. All of the "signs of pregnancy" are also signs of menstruation. Use and condom and get on the pill. Don't be promiscuous or you will end up with HPV and get cervical cancer.
