WHY would you want to misspell the child's name???
That's only going to cause confusion for that child, her entire life. Spell it RIGHT.

You tell me, Amanda... after all, you are Amanda and nobody should know better how to spell Amanda than Amanda herself. I have dated three Amandas, one for nine years, and they all spelled Amanda a-m-a-n-d-a. I don't think there are any other ways to spell Amanda other than Amanda. But if you're Amanda and you want to spell Amanda differently, go right ahead. Amanda.

You should leave it the way it is normally spelled if your going to name your baby that. Trust me it only causes mis understandings later in life when she will go to school, it may sound cute and orginal at first but trust me, its better left alone, trust me i for one would no.
