yes, brushing your teeth w/ baking soda helps whiten, however, it does it so gradual that you wont see a difference right away. it does hurt your gums if you are rough, so brush your teeth only, not up to the gums. specially if you have bad gums be gentle on them

some toothpaste has baking soda in them if u wanna make em whiter theres a thing u put on ur teeth in the morning im not sure what its called

It's supposed to help whiten but I think toothpaste today does a better job than baking soda. No brushing with baking soda doesn't hurt.

It makes mine whiter. I once heard Oprah say she's never used anything on her teeth but baking soda.

I think it's an old wives' tale. The soda is abrasive so after you do it a few times your gums feel irritated and sore. I never noticed it making my teeth whiter.

My mother use to say to do that but I never got past putting Baking Soda in my mouth.

Get the tooth paste with the baking soda in it, and no, it doesn't hurt. If it does then you have Gingivitis.

my teeth are white as snow i use baking soda and crest plus peroxide,but if your not able to keep from swallowing you shouldnt use peroxide it can cause digestive disturbances. and yes soda can make your gums a bit sore and tender but.
