They may forgive, but they don't forget. Sometimes if kids are involved they may try to stay in the relationship for the kids. "Love" does strange things to people.

women forgive, but whether they realize it or not, more problems result from the cheating. There are now trust issues, probably communication issues, and so on. So when they get a divorce there are then many factors to deal with. It is like a small snowball going down a big hill. It only gets bigger and bigger. So do the problems

Because they think they will be able to forgive and go on with their marriage, but things don't work out that way. It is really difficult to get over the hurt and distrust of being cheated on. The wives probably intended to forgive and go on, but trust is almost impossible to give once it has been broken.
Another reason they divorce is that the husband cheats on her again after she has given him a chance to redeem himself. You know -once a cheater always a cheater.

Because they can't forget or forgive and the love turns to disdain. Then as time goes on they don't feel any love at all for their spouse and go out and find someone new themselves or just leave him and live alone. Once either spouse is found cheating, there are repercussions to come.

I think we say we forgive them and dont. it hurts!!!! I dont think we forgive and we deffinetly dont forget. We tell them we do to keep them from leaving for the moment but later on sometime down the road we realize we never got over it. The having to think about it everyday drives us to be insane and wondering what started it, who touched who first, him kissing her, him liking it and the fact that someone else had your man!!! it sucks but happens all the time. I think it has alot to do with other relationships you've been in. If you've been cheated on a few times, you may be bothered a little more wondering why again and why my husband.

Cause they never do really forgive them , or the husband keeps cheating and being a dumbazz

We forgive them because we still love them. Been there. Took him going way too far for me to realize the he didn't care how I felt anymore. Was time to leave.

well i think as a women that has gone through that u think they are going to change and they dont sometimes they fell that they are so good that they can do that again so thats the last straw and we find a way out.

I don't know why women forgive cheaters. If it was me (and hopefully my future husband won't), I wouldn't have any mercy.

There must have been other reasons for divorcing besides that cheating that was forgiven.
