It’s probably one of the most interesting undercover reporting segments that has been on a news show in decades. Not to mention, that far from merely underscoring the problem, which is where most investigative reporting ends, this exposé actually endeavors to mitigate the problem by taking these predators off the street by combining their investigative efforts with law enforcement.
So I do enjoy the show immensely for all the good its doing. Yet, I am also a bit disturbed by just how widespread the problem is, and by how persistent these child molesters are even though many have acknowledged, on the show, that they are aware that Dateline is actively seeking to get their kind arrested.
The fact that pedophiles do this despite being cognizant of the risk Dateline poses to them, highlights how strong their urges are.

I just watched it myself and I think its GREAT. It truly shows how Stupid Perverts are. They've done 6 or 7 of these so far and yet the Retards Still come. I hope Dateline continues to do this until they get No One to show up.

I LOVE that show. I actually met a guy that was featured on the Ft Meyers episode two weeks before the sting. Hilarious! I hope they come up with different ways to nab these dirtbags.
BTW.. The guy that I met was being held on 50K bond and looking at a mandatory 5 yr sentence. His company lap top was confiscated along with the company digital camera. Last I heard he was still resting comfortably in the county jail. Bet his wife, kids, parents and siblings are proud...

No because we all know the people caught will eventually be set free. Maybe if the scum that were caught "disappeared" after the show it would be better.
