I think they are very cute, and have several fairy ornaments and figurines......any truth to the good luck myth? Anyone know exactly what kind of myths go along with these little creatures?

There are stories of all kinds of fairies from good to bad. Not all of them look are cute with gossamer wings or look like Tinkerbell. In fact, Tinkerbell, was not exactly nice. I have included a couple of links for you. All you have to do is a Yahoo or Goggle search on fairies, you will come up with all kinds of information. There are also books on Fairies to learn more.

The tales stared with the defeat of the De DANNANS by the milasians. unlike other people that were defeated they did not flee the land as they are a magical race . Instead they went into the land.starting the tales of the little people and such.

I heard that women like to hang out with them cause they are like guys but aren't threatening like normal guys. But if a girl hangs out with too many faries she will scare away the real guys so they aren't exactly good luck.

There are many types of faeries. Each have very distinct characteristics. I acknowledge them but tend to let them do their thing and I do mine.

Well, they can be good luck, if you have their alliegance, but some can be kindy "flighty", and seek to bring mischief into your life, if they can.
