Use a hot wash cloth on your face to really open your pores before applying -- and then just follow the instructions on the package. Usually you leave a mask on for 10 minutes more or less, and then remove with COLD WATER to shut your clean pores.

put it on everything except you hairline and under your eye and on your eyelid actally dont put it anywhere near your eyes leave it on for 10 15 20 mins how ever long the directions say atleast until it dries and then wash it off in luke warm water

Massage with sandalwood based cream and apply a paste of multani mitti (fullers earth) and sandalwood powder mixed together

Origins makes a really good one. It's charcoal. Just smooth it on, let it dry and wash it off gently with a washcloth. Do not tug or pull at your skin.
