I would not give anything to charity, cause I don't trust just any charity. Instead, I would build at least 2 homeless shelters in every major city in the country. With all the medical supplies and food needed to help. I would spend my time running them...
Also, I would hire those same people to help in serving and assisting in job placement, and community activity.
Let's help our own...

But a lot of it would go to the political kinds of charities. It is better to spend a few million campaigning to get the government to give billions, than it is giving the millions directly. Also things like stopping wars will have more humanitarian impact than if the millions went to people affected by the war after it happened.
So I'd mostly go for charities that aim for political change, and some to other charities in case the political change isn't successful.

in islam giving to relatives is a type of charity , and since nobody can be closer to me than myself , i would like to volunteer and give all the money as charity to myself .

a few million--maybe even half? i dont know--- i would give it to the kids starving literally to death--i hate when that commercial comes on... and id have to do some research before i gave it to any charity to make sure the people are going to get it......

The charity I would give to would be my 4 kids and grandkids. I have had to work for everything that I have and now would like to enjoy what I have and my children shouldn't have to bust their asses to get anywhere. If I sound greedy, well so be it...

$500,000 and it would be to the humane shelters. Then with the rest I would set up a college fund for me and I would be able to get a nice house and live a good life not having to work hard.
