Yes and you can bet your bottom dollar, that somewhere on a planet orbiting a distant star, an intelligent being is pondering the same question.
One hundred billion stars in our own galaxy alone, at least that many galaxies already observed, what are the chances of there not being life out there.
We will never know if that wow signal twenty-nine years ago was a contact or not, but I believe in the next couple of decades as our listening devices get more sophisticated, we will pick up that signal from an alien civilisation, and know for sure: That We Are Not Alone.

Of course there is. But I can't give you the odds we can speak their language. I can, however, guarantee they speak ours, and many others, as well. On television just this evening, scientists were discussing 16 new planets I believe they said they had found... I would like to live long enough to see this world of ours make - "Contact." Also, I can be fairly certain they are beings a bit unlike ourselves, and probably better equipped to live in deep space than we are. And they probably have their entire defense system right inside their bodies. There. Now you know all there is to know about it. Go have a late night snack and watch an old Godzilla movie! Best to you, always, Chris.

There must be. In the infinitesimal (well, not quite, nothing is infinite...except maybe love, but lets not go there) expanse of the universe (multiverse?), we can't be the only living beings. If we're just a cosmic coincidence, then surely there are other planets who just happen to have the right atmosphere and temperature etc. to be habitable for other forms of life.
