I would not bother with an associates. It is a 2 year degree and will not get you as far as a bachelor's degree.

A bachelor's takes 4 years if you go full time. If you take some summer classes also you can finish in 3 or 3 1/2 years. A master's takes about 2 additional years.

If you speak another language you may want to consider taking that as a minor. This will help you to get a job over someone else who only speaks one language.

The classes are not bad; you have the general requirements like math, science and English. Then you have to take the specific business classes. Each course prepares you for the next. They vary a little from school to school.

I am not familiar with the intercontinental university. I imagine that the requirements are similar to most schools; take an SAT or ACT and apply.

The first two years worth of college (juinor/community college, years 1 & 2 in a University (which is a 4 year college), is typically equivalent to an Associate's degree.

If you finish your coursework for a Bachelor's degree, this is all you need to supercede the Associates. You generally get an Associate's because you went to a junior or community college, NOT a 4 year university.

There are NO Associates degrees at a 4 year Uni.

However, you can also join a program that combines the Bachelor's and Masters degrees at one University, called a Joint Program. This is typically 5 years in length.

The long way: Associate's: 2 years+
Bachelor's: 4 to 5 years total (inclusive of the Assoc.)
Master's: 2 years+

Or: Joint -- 5 years (only at select colleges)

Associates... 2 years (I did it in 1.5)
Bachelors.... 4 years without Associates, 2 years with associates (took me 1.5)
Masters... 2 years, but some MBA programs are 1 year. Keep in mind you'll need 5 years of work experience for this.
