With regular model computer monitors you can get image burnin, but I haven't heard if LCD screens do the same. Do LCD if left on the same image for long periods of time get image burnin?

Sort of, not the exact same thing as regular monitors, but the affect is similiar. Fortunately on LCDs it is not permanent, usually just turning the monitor off for a few hours will fix the problem. To prevent it, simply turn off your monitor when not in use, this saves power also anyway. In addition, the newer LCDs have taken great steps to reduce this problem.

They don't suffer from burnin, but LCD's have backlights which can burnout like any CRT or light bulb.

No, by the nature of LCD screens there is no more possibility of the old-style burn-in....we no longer have to worry about this...!

LCD screens do not have a burn in problem and never have.

no, not anymore. They engineered that out. Even on CRT's, too.
