I know it's true. I grew 2 inches in college (between the ages of 18 and 21). Girls and boys normally continue growing until age 18. Some, like myself, grow a little more after that. Your sister is right! Apologize dude!

NORMALLY girls stop growing around the age of 18. But then there are some of us (me in this very rare group) that go through a growth spurt in their 30's. My "twins" decided to grow and Im not pregnant. So its really what your dna map says. Whomever gave your sister the idea that she will stop growing at 14 is very wrong.

Yes, some do. I was 4'11'' when I was 14, and reached 5'1" by the time I was 16. Not everybody matures at the same rate, either. Girls who are fully developed sexually will probably not grow much more. But if you see girls who are obviously not women yet.... they will tend to grow more as they fill out. Once you are through puberty, the growth plates close and that's when height slows down.

actually yes..unlike men females continue to grow in multiple ways after the age of 14. perticularly in breast size. some grow at 14 some at 12 some at 16 or 18 theres no real pattern.

Different people grow for different lengths of time. I quit growing when I was about 13, but my sister kept growing a bit until she was about 16. It's totally individual.

It sure is. I didn't stop growing until I was 17. My breast size went from a b cup when I was 16 to a d when I was 17! And no, I didn't get fat. I was still a petite size 3. BUT.....I have been the same height since I was around 13 or so.
Good luck!

I grew taller an extra inch between the ages of 16 and 20.
Puberty is different for every girl, so there isnt a set age when things just STOP happening.
