like if i say "hi" the messenger automatically translates it into vietnamese as soon as i send the message...and after the vietnamese translation, there is a website that they refer me to but everytime i click on it, my program acquires a virus...and its so hard to remove the virus with the antivirus program that i have

I had a vietnamese virus affecting my Yahoo Messenger and I was directed to http://www.bkav.com.vn/frmDownloadE.aspx which is the University of Hanoi anti virus software. Anyhow after running the software it appears to have cleared it up.

there is a plug-in on yahoo messenger that is called "i-translator" or something like that. it will translate you english into the language of you choice. that may be the problem. just stop using the translator.
