Seems like the two of you have a pretty strong friendship forming right now. You don't want to do anything to screw that up...so develop the friendship for now and if you are meant to be together in the future, you will be...remember that friendship is the foundation for everything beyond...

Your in a bit of a fix. First of all if I was in your shoes I would stay his friend and sit and wait for your chance. Don't tell him you like him because that will make him feel funny around you. My best friend of 15 years told me a couple of months ago that he has been in love with me since the first time him and I met. That kinda weirded me out. I don't talk to him as much as I did before because I always think about him liking me for more then a friend now. I am involved with someone and have been for many years and he knows that. I have never thought of him as more then a friend. So be safe and play your cards right and if it was meant to be, it will happen. Good Luck!!!!

behave yourself and leave him alone, sounds like it was a good line to get you close and in line for the next squeeze if this one he is working on falls apart. Not a great guy to have who sets one up before the first one falls.

Let him enjoy his girl friend. Maybe you can be his friend, but find your own guy. That way, the relationship will be above-board, and you'll feel better about it in the long run.
