ok. this guy, he's in 2 of my classes at school. we're really competitive when it comes to getting good grades, like we''ll always try to get better scores on quizzes or tests than each other,etc. and he always teases me and makes fun of me when he gets a better grade than me or whatver, and i do the same. i think he likes me. is his being competitive w/me his way to express his feelings or what? yes, i know i am a dork, trying to get good grades.......LOL
pleaz, if u have suggestions or answers on how to deal, let me know.

Open, honest dialogue is always the best answer. Just asking him. If he can't take the direct approach then he probably need to grow up a bit more. Don't be obnoxious just subtly real. I think he'll like that.

Try to engineer some time alone, and touch him. No, not like that. On the shoulder or forearm or someplace "neutral." If he doesn't pull away, that's a good sign.

Just ask him if he is teasing you in being competitive or is this his way of flirting. Then go from there.

ask him in a playful way if he likes you, and judge his answer by both what he says and his body language. see how he acts after this. then you will know.

i had the exact thing happen to me...it was so annoying...but yea it turned out he liked me...just keep doing your best and if he grows up then he'll tell you he likes you.

He probably likes you and that's his way of getting your attention most boys tease girls when they like them or the start to fight with them.I know they're weird but that's wat they do sometimes.
