my best friend ever since preschool talks about all of her other friends behind their backs. how do i know she isnt doing the same to me? friend or foe? what should i do? she has been my bff for like ever!

She might just feel bad about herself and when she points out others flaws it makes her feel good. She is your friend stick with her I am sure she doesn't want to hurt anyone she just doesn't know how to deal with her own feelings properly.

You say the two of you have been friends since preschool so I assume she is talking to you ONLY about her other friends. If that is the case, no problem. Is she talking about you to her other friends? I would hope, being your best friend like forever and all, that if she is talking about you to them that it is just basic stuff. You could either directly ask her and take the chance of offending her or let it be and accept the fact that she is the way she is and you have always known this cause both of you are really best friends. Sorry you are thinking this way. Give her the benefit of the doubt and enjoy each others friendship.

Well .... you gotta stop and look ... if she talks trash behind peoples backs .... are you a people? Then remember she may still be a friend but what you share with her today may be on the all girl trash talk network tomorrow..... Follow this easy rule:" If your mother wouldn't be happy reading it on the front page of the paper and if you were photographed doing it and it were to be displayed on a bill board" ... those are the types of things you just don't talk about to anyone .....
Unless you have someone telling you (On their own ..with out you asking) that you've been trashed ...be happy and watch what you say in the future .... If you find you are road kill on the trash talk highway ... then decide to speak to her about correcting the problem or find a new friend.

my ex superb pal became a chum yet now's maximum actually a foe. you cant be organic as quickly as breaking relatives with somebody. you experience awkward tremendously once you recognize theirs too plenty stress in the air.

Ask some of her so- called friends if she has ever talked about you behind your back. They may or may not be completely honest with you. My gut feeling is that if she talks about them, then she probably talks about you also.

She definitely talks behind your back too. But knowing is half the battle. You won't be taken by surprise, if you ever have to dump her.
