It sounds as though the house has settled and the door frame is no longer square. Find someone who is handy with tools , have them remove the interior and exterior trim boards. The nails going through the door frame into the wall opening must be cut with a saw and the door frame then resquared in the opening, the trim replaced and caulked. The job is not that difficult and should take less than an hour.

First, use a strong "grease relief" cleaner to get rid of the cooking spray you used. Let it dry. Try some WD-40 in the spray can, sold in most all hardware stores and even some supermarkets. A few applications may take care of it. Could be due to weather changes if it hasn't happened before. If that doesn't work, see if you may need to replace the weather stripping.

Moisture seeps into doors and makes them expand this time of year. Remove the door and cut 1/2" off of the bottom. Put flexible stripping on the bottom to stop the draft.
Your lock probably won't work until the spring time unless you relocate it on the door which can be messy.

You don't have to hire me, but I can help. your door may actually move due to moisture or weather change, or physical movement of the house or (and) door. Look at the space between the door and frame. It will probably be touching near the bottom. Loosen the top hinge and place something under it and re-tighten it. something, a washer, a penny, a dime, etc.

Sounds like it just needs planing off, if you have a wood plane use it to skim off the bit of door that's sticking or get a chippy to do it for a few quid/bucks.
You don't need a new door!
