here is my story i was born a triplet at 26 weeks and my sisters and i all have CP but lucky me im the only one u can notice has cp i had a sergery when i was little then when i was 10 i had a leg sergery i got an infection things whent wrong the bone would not heal my leg broke i didnt go to the hospitel for 3 days i had 8 sergerys to follow a cage, a cople lines to my heart and a few other things i have 28 scares to prove it people ask me do i regret it and my anser is no it made me stronger as a person my mother hates me my father rezents me but i dont care people feel sorry for me but its in the past its done im better now there r 4 year old kids dieing in the hospitle and have never exsprenced life and id be happy to die tommorow knowing iv had a great life i didnt tell you this story to make u feel sorry for me i told u this to open ur eyes to how great your life is and that every day you wake up is a good day even if its not wut u had hoped iv told u my story tell me urs..

Short and simple.
-Our mother died when we were very young. I was like 3 years old.
-I had an accident which was one of those close encounter. I survived.
-Our dad married a woman. She was very mean to us.
-Stepmother has a daughter, our step sister.
-I go to school and it is like hell of fun.
-Before finishing grade 8 war strikes. We leave our country. We move to a refugee camp.
-I never imagined how it would feel like being left without a house and no where to go.
-From the refugee camp we move to another country
-Here is good but I still miss my place.
-I go to school in another culture, another language and it proves to be frustarating and depressing.
-I finish high school and get accepted to university.
-I find out that we have another 2 brothers and 1 sister. Our mother had left children when she broke up with her former husband and married our father. I also find out our oldest sister was from another mother that dad married first before marring our mother. Felt like the whole world betrayed me.
-Just recently I find out that I have hyperthyrodism.
-Today, I'm writing about my life in a nut shell. I hope other people are honest and open.

My story - I married a guy with CP and how we have 2 kids and one on the way - how about that? I wouldn't compare myself to you - and say it's a great day. It's a great day because I'm married to a guy with CP and he's the best hubby I could ask for! You know - you may have challenges but they don't have to run your life and you don't have to think about them all the time and you can enjoy things and have a future just like anybody else. I've had alot of life challenges too - different than yours - but anyone who is honest knows - we all have challenges in different areas of life. But I think people with CP are awesome. I have two very good friends who have CP and they live together. The only reason they don't marry is because the law would take away their healthcare which is very important to them. In any case, you don't have to ask me not to feel sorry for you! I'm just wondering about all of the great things that will happen in your life and considering how incredible your potential in life really is - don't lose sight of that! Parents have an impact - but remember 15 years from now (may seem like a long time) - but you'll see your parents in a totally different light. Time has an amazing way of changing things with parents. You're awesome! There will come a day when you will realize that your parents - have issues - it wasn't you who caused any of them. It's also not you who has to pay the price - even if it feels that way now. It took me the longest time to really get that one through my head!

thankyou it was good to share that i feel better or ready but i wont share mine cause i think you are right that we should open our eyes when things are not great because there is always someone else going through the same thing an even worst things so we do need to appreciate the simple things in life ,an the small blessings that we recieve each day,..i would wish that you and your parents good become stronger in your realationship but sometimes these things take time an the universe has a way of coming around in the end

You are a strong person. My story is that my parents were both abusive and I married at 14 had a son 2 months after I turned 15 my husband and I are still together 21 years later, my oldest son is in Iraq and my younger two are great also.

All of us have a story to tell of varying degrees of happiness, sadness, ability, and disablity. Some of us are great at running marathons, and playing football, others can answer questions and offer advice on answers.com. Life is what you make of it. Even the one's who seem to have it all are missing something in their lives... so, chin up, you've got something to offer, capitalize on it!

When I was born three different doctors had told her I was dead All doing ultrasound and other things she went to the hospital to get me removed and I was alive My mother wanted to check again and I guess that was a good thing.

all friend s dead. all family dead. my home was distroyed. no insurance, all posssesions.gone. am in horrible cronic pain. on disablity. depressed. suicidal. but i KNOW that god is with me. so I go on.
