I'm a guy who lives in Florida, but alot of kids (mostly the surfer crowd) wears flip-flops. I personally don't like flip-flops, and I'm not a member of the surfer crowd, but I have a pair of sandals that look similar to this:

Would these be cool in high school? If I wear these, I would be one of about 7 people in school with this type of sandal, so I'm a little afraid that I'll stand out. I'm somewhat tanned, and I heard that girls like guys in these kind of sandals if they are tanned. Would these be alright for school?

Wear whatever you want dont worry about what others think is cool. If you like them wear them, I have this mossy green sweater most people may think is weird but i absolutely love it.

I don't really like those for every day wear..
They are more for..if you live in the mountains and want to go on a hike by the creek :)
Get a pair of awesome rocking vans, or some other casual shoe!

sandals, flipflops, showershoes, footwear that show the ft, footwear with in basic terms a front to them are actually not suited for college. often times a county will enable it. while you're uncertain, ask your important or instructor if what you decide on is suited.

Its your choice to wear them. Not comfortable, wear your tennis to most of day. Only a couple of classes left put them on. No reaction then wear another day all day, people comment u don't really want to deal with then don't, no socks, clean feet,toenail etc. Make sure to lotion feet. Good luck.

yeah i kind of think flip flops on guys look a little strange. if its possible, wear sneakers or something. but you can go with whatever YOU want

i guess cause ur tanned
but if u hang with the surfer crowd more and i guess be a surfer or something it would be better

Are they allowed there? Some schools don't allow sandals because you can get injured.

You would be cool if you were like me. and those sandals are gay. General rule: NO ONE IS COOL IF THEY FOLLOW/COPY OTHERS. you have to be an individual..
