My mother just got 4 Job offers. One in El Passo Texas, One In Stamford CT and two in Washington State, Bothell and I forgot the name of the other place. Shes considering taking the CT one. If she does chances are I'll go with her. I have never been to any of the states and was wondering what CT is like.
Is there anything to do there? I think NYC is only 30min from there. Is Stamford in perticular a safe area, low crime and such?
I lived in Wisconsin almost my entire life and worry that if I where to move to say CT I would not fit in, but I'm really tired of midwestern living.
I could never see myself living in Texas so I really does not have a change of heart and take that one haha.
So point being, what does anyone know about Connecuit? If you live there do you like it, and would you say it's a good place to raise a family?3

Stamford is a pretty safe area. I like CT I was born ans raised here and want to raise my kids here too,

My pal, from Stamford, CT, you are able to take Metro-North's New Haven Line to Grand effective Terminal. The holiday from Stamford takes approximately ninety minutes. good success community New Yorker

I grew up a few towns from Stamford and moved away for good this week. That part of CT is insanely expensive. Greenwich, which is the next town over has an average home price of over $1M.
Crime is a big problem in Stamford. There are good areas and bad areas. It is a major city in CT.
CT has insane taxes. You have to pay property taxes on your car. The traffic is like nothing else.
Then you have the New Yorkers that have invaded CT because NY is too expensive. They are the worst kind of people.

Stamford Ct is a Rich part of Ct.I guess there's alot of places 2 go there.Low Crime Rate.Good Luck
