i heard somewhere that mascara is made from bat poop and lipstick and lip gloss is made from fish scales. Does anybody know if this is true?

you are beautiful as is it, why mess with the perfection you were born with, it's just companies that want your dollar that have marketed this stuff to women to make us feel bad about ourselves and that if we buy their product we will look and feel better....BS

I hate to break it to you guys, but I know for a fact that the fish scale one is true. For shimmer lip glosses, and lip sticks they do sometimes use ground up fish scales for the shimmer, not in all of them, but in alot of them. Also fish oils are often used in eyelash glue.

That is absolutely false about the mascara, it is actually the cremated remains of kittens and puppies that don't get adopted from animal shelters. They mix the ashes with a bit of water and viola, mascara!
That is true about the lipstick though. :-P

It's true. I know, it's gross that guano is on your eyelashes and you can eat fish without going to a restauraunt. But that's just how it is. On the other hand:EEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWW!
