Don't waste your time with pawn shops, they will never give you anywhere near what it's worth. Best to find another jewler who buys from owners, you'll get a much better deal.

About 1/5 the purchase price. When you buy jewelry from a jeweler, you are paying about 5 times its actual value. It's pawn shop / ebay value are much closer to the actual value.
I once saw a guy bring an engagement ring into a pawn shop. The girlfriend turned him down. The jeweler wouldn't take it back. The pawn shop offered him only 1/5 of what he paid. It was pathetic. I laughed.

maybe $30, they will turn around and sell it for like $200. dont go to a pawn shop.
