I had my first pap smear at 13, when I was going to enter high school. It was a requirement that all girls went through a full physical, and they would not let you start high school without it.

And I can remember that it was very embarrassing.

I was 13... I was raped at 12 and developed Ovarian Cysts later that year. the Drs thought it best to put me on the pill to control the cysts and that meant a Pap.
