Close but no cigar. There is a difference between printing at the printers' and at home. The way the ink or toner holds the paper. Home printed letterheads may be good for non-important uses. If you want to make an effect, the ones printed at the printers' is still the best.

There's no "make letterhead" button in Illustrator. It will look as professional as the person using Illustrator is capable of making it look.
