Best - teaching hands-on marine science to visiting scool groups on a shrimp trawler - I was good at it, had an impact, enjoyed the work and the people I worked with and got to be outside a lot.
Worst - Hand on a dairy. Work was hard, but mainly the owner was a prick. Only time I saw him smile was with his arm up a heifer's butt checking for pregnancy!

The worst job I ever had was screwing screws into the back of televisions all day long, I was16 at the time and very inexperienced, I had crowds of guys standing by the bay half the time asking if I would like to do a bit of screwing with them, I had to ask my boss what it meant and cried when I found out because I was so embarrassed, didn't stay long in that job, so boring and too much embarrassment.
The best job I ever had was one I had to give up a few years ago, I had always wanted to work in an office and finally at 32 got the job of my dreams as a PA to a really nice couple, I just loved that job, it was everything I had ever wanted to do work wise, I got to go to some great parties and events with my bosses, met some fantastic people and even got a good few weekends away too and I was always able to take my hubby with me which was great, really miss working, but a serious accident I had 13 years ago put paid to my career, still at least I am still alive and happy.

Worst job - I was an equine insurance underwriter, dull work, bad pay & I was the only guy in an all female team and while that might sound like the ideal job, it wasn't cos they wanted another girl to join their team and so they ignored me for pretty much the entire time I worked there and never asked me to go on nights out but would sit there planning them at work when I could hear them.
Best job - Arable farmer, I love being outside all day and being my own boss!

Am now retired, but the only two jobs I ever had I loved.
First job was teaching, lasted 3 years and loved every minute of it.
Second job I had (and still do to a small extent) was producing wildlife documentry films and travel films. Have so many memories of all the places and things I've seen and the wonderful and not-so-wonderful people I have met. No amount of money can buy those kinds of memories.

My worst job was at a school bookstore. I was the cashier, so I would have to stand behind the register all the time, and it was so boring! I hated it, and I was late everyday. And I hated the manager because she was always telling me I had to stand behind the register, but would yell at me if I just stood there doing nothing. That job was so boring! I can't think of a best job, because all of my jobs sucked! That one just sucked the most.

thought I loved my job, person employed to a senior position targetted me as being weak, took 7 months and I had a nevous breakdown, resulted in 26 weeks off work, tried to return. Employers found 'reasons' to restrict my hours and eventually made me redundant 4 months later... took 18 months of turmoil to work out that sometimes you need to make these calls for yourself, not continuously try and jump through hoops for people that are always going to change their ideals so you do not suit.... Now have a great job, good relations with most people i work with. What a difference being truly happy in your job makes! Now have a social life, mortgage and most of all, confidence and self esteem.

The best job I ever had was teaching.
I'm only sixty so I suppose there are a few more experiences waiting for me but those days I'll take fondly to my grave.
