Canada is the USA's northern border. There is no ocean or sea between the USA and Canada, so it isn't overseas. You can actually drive from the USA to Canada aslong as you have ID, a passport, or a birth certificate.

Canada is part of North America but not part of the United States of America. It's a separate country. It is not overseas, we share a border.'

Canada is not part of USA and it is overseas for an American similiar to Malaysia and Singapore where many people asked whether Singapore is part of Malaysia and is overseas for a Malaysian. The answer is Singapore is not part of Malaysia and is overseas for a Malaysian and same goes to Canada and the United States of America.

It is not part of our country, USA (the united states of america) It IS part of the continent (big hunk of land) called North america, but they do not refer to themselves as "Americans." It is not overseas either. Anything else?
The USA does, however, include hawaii which is in the middle of the pacific ocean and alaska, which is up and left (north and west) of canada, near russia.

Come on Guys! You don't really think this question is genuine - take a look at their other questions!!

Anyway, yes, my dear, the answer is that we here in Canada are your larger neighbour (with a "u") to the north, however, one does not actually have to cross a sea to find us!

If you look at a map, you'll see that Canada is directly north of the USA. It is overseas from Europe and Asia. Not here.

Canada is overseas if you are in Europe, Africa or Asia. since you are in the USA, Canada is not overseas; it is a separate country sharing a border with the US, just as Mexico does.

it's part of NORTH AMERICA, which is the continent that includes canada, usa, mexico, etc. but it's not actually part of the USA. it's not overseas because it's directly above the us, and there's only land and a few lakes between canada and usa.
hope that helped
