i dont get why is everyone hating on tony hes a 2 time champ,hes got 27 career wins,and is driving for JOE GIBBS the super bowl champ head coach.Dose anyone even like him cause i think hes THE BEST in nascar.

I'm a Tony Stewart fan myself and I think the reason why so many people dislike Tony is because of his attitude.
While I am a fan I admit that Tony does tend to have a nasty attitude...sometimes. I think that Tony's attitude throws people off but all of the drivers have bad attitudes at one point in time. It's just that Tony's tends to get more publicity.
Truthfully Tony is really a big ol' teddy bear. He's not as nasty, mean and hateful as the media likes to make him out to be. He does so much great charity work, especially for Victory Junction Gang camp and you don't hear about that. The media will only talk about if Tony gets into it with another driver, etc.
Tony is a good guy..you just gotta push back the tough guy exterior.

Tony's my favorite too and I love him no matter what. He is definately the best driver on the circuit. He is also a great guy who is really generous and gives a lot of time and money to charities. And I don't think he is cocky, but if he was he'd have a DAMN GOOD reason to be. And to all the haters, you've got to give credit where credit is due. He's an awesome driver.
I think they hate him because he speaks his mind. They are used to the politically correct drivers who just say what the media wants to hear, not what they really think. People just don't understand him. But I don't care what everyone else thinks about him, Tony is a kickass driver who can win in ANYTHING and he will ALWAYS be my favorite.
And don't worry, you're not alone. There are ALOT of Stewart fans.

Well, people have different tastes in NASCAR drivers. Tony is exactly the kind of guy I'd hate...and yet....I can't help but like him. He may be a whiner, and kind of mean, but at the same time you can tell that he's a nice guy. He's very generous, he recently gave $1mill to Victory Junction, and don't think it's for his reputation because he tried not to let it out, and he's donated money to them in the past.
Besides, he's friends with Jr. And a friend of Jr. is a friend of mine :-P
Can't say he's a friend of Sterling Marlin though....he hit him a while ago and that made me real mad as Sterling is my guy....but for some reason I just couldn't hold a grudge against him....

Everyone hates a winner, if it's not their guy. Look at all the Yankee haters.
I personally hate that little punk Jeff Gordon. I like Tony Stewart ok. I really like some of the older guys like Mark Martin. I liked Rusty Wallace as a driver, and I think he has done an excellent job this year as a commentator.

Tony Stewart is a very talented driver. He is also a very generous person regarding charities and people with disabilities. Unfortunately he also acts like the racing world revolves around him. He is the first to complain about safety, respect and "give and take" but forgets all of that is a two way street. Tony's mantra of "do as I say and not as I do", as well as his temper makes many race fans consider him a complete and total idiot. He is not disliked because of his talents. He is disliked because of his attitude. When he first came into NASCAR he was looked upon as a rising star. In my opinion, it was his own actions that have turned him into being looked upon as a moron by so many.
Like many NASCAR fans I respect Tony's talents. I respect him for his charitable works and donations. I despise him for his attitude and lack of respect to his fellow competitors.

I think a lot of it has to do with his former attitude with Jeff Gordon amoung other drivers. Personally, I love Tony. He isn't my fovorate driver, but he's one I cheer for and is always happy to see win (except last week, I really wanted Casey to win.) Tony drives like the good old boys (Petty, Earnhart, the Allison brothers ext...) drove. He's agressive and not afraid to move someone out way or confront them when they make him angry. In the early days, he would have been loved for it, but in today's pc correct Nascar world, Tony is a bad guy and peole don't like the bad guy.

I love Stewart. No matter what whether he wins or not I will always cheer for him. People just hate him because he most probably is better than the driver they like. He can drive ANYTHING and win in it. That is TOTAL BAD As$. So they will probably always hate him because he is just awesome. And about his attitude, SO WHAT i think its sexy. There is nothing sexier than a man who can stand up for himself and what he believes for whether he is right or wrong and if he is wrong apologize for it. I cant stand it when they talk crap about him being ugly or fat . Ugly!!! i think Matt Kenseth and Kyle Busch take the award! and I dont know about you, but Newman is a stocky man and no one ever says he is fat. So smoke has a little belly! so what that doesnt stop him from being the damn best in Nascar. Whether people bash on him I will proudly show off my 20 Decal on my car and Wave high the 20 flag every sunday.

Tony is a kickass driver and people just can't handle his aggresive attitude.He don't take shyt off of any of these faggoty *** drivers like gordon,or his boyfriend johnson,,And he don't take shyt off of nascar either..People don't like to hear the truth and tony tells it..Earnhardt sr was the same and tony is the closest thing we have left in nascar..

People don't like him for the same reason they didn't like Dale Earnhardt when he was alive, because he wins and is a threat to win at almost every race. Tony isn't cocky either, he just knows what he can do with a racecar. He's good and he knows it and he wants to win every race.
