Infacol in Australia is safe to use as per the packaging. Unlike the old colic remedies it doesn't contain alcohol.
If you and your four week old baby are having a tough time (as one would expect with bad colic) and can spare $20-$30 a fortnight, there is a place in Melbourne that makes a remedy that apparently works.
My cousin used this product on his twins and it apparently was a miracle. They stopped using it and the crying came back. Now that the boys are 4 months old they don't need it anymore.
My cousin was very skeptical about alternative treatments like herbs but desperation called for desperate measures (a howling baby that looks like is pain is desperate) - and he hasn't been bagging the alternative medicine gurus anymore.

Although your question is on how to use infacol on your baby due to his colic, i would like to refer to what probably causes colic to your baby. any medication has in one way or another has side effects so the best way is to minimize the use of such medications. Instead try to look for alternative milk other than cow's milk. If you are breastfeeding, avoid eating white beans and cabbage and drinking cow's milk. a soft rub on the tummy will help ease the pain and just bear in mind that colic oftentimes disappear on the fourth month.
hope this helps... my baby has me worried too but now at four months, he's as happy and colic free as he can be

There should be dosing information on or in the package you bought. if not, you should consult the pharmacist or doctor. Most simethocone products say not more than 1 time per hour. However, If your child does not settle after one or two doses, I would consider what else could be making your baby colicky. You might consider a more upright position for feeding, a formula or breastfeeding dietary change (with your doctor's consent of course), heat packs on the tummy, etc. Good luck!

in the beginning the pup probably is crying because of the fact it is so youthful and could be with a mom canines so it may be suited to permit it sleep someplace the place it feels extra secure than basically in a crate until eventually it is 8 weeks old. Secondly you will get domestic dog formulation. it would have each and every of the supplements the pup want in it, yet i could get a competent high quality variety from a puppy shop no longer in basic terms the junk they have at wal mart.

my son had colic and it lasted for 6 months. Any kind of medication that his doctor suggested did not work. Do not give your son anything without checking with his doctor.

give a dose with each feed, as per package instructions.
If colic persists, get your son into a chiropractor that does babies...they work wonders!!!!

I would NOT risk asking this question on this forum. Please call either a pediatrician or a pharmacist as all babies are different. They might tell you something here that might harm your baby. Please call a doctor.
