You are allergic.
Buy a different brand and type.
The price probably makes no difference.

Never use cheap eyeliner or mascara. Many people have allergic reactions to these products, and while you might be willing to chance it with your skin, your eyes are too important to fool around with. I suggest throwing the eyeliner you bought away. Don't use any other eye make-up until the problems you are having clear up. And if things don't start to get better within a day of stopping the product and washing that awful stuff off, go to a doctor. Go sooner if the pain is severe, your eyes are really red, or you can't open them at all. After things have gone back to normal, you might try a hypoallergenic eyeliner, like Almay, Physician's Formula, or Neutrogena. Just be careful, and stop using it if you have the slightest bit of irritation.

I've never heard of eyes getting sore from eyeliner. My best guess would be that you're having some sort of reaction to that brand. You should never buy "cheap" makeup because it's something that goes on your face. Try buying a better quality eyeliner and if it continues then you might be allergic or your eyes aren't used to it. But try a better quality first after letting your eyes heal from the AILIN brand. I suggest a liner thats soft, and goes on smooth. Test out the liner before you buy.

Your probably allergic to it. I had the same problem, but with an expensive product...Lancome mascara.
Remember, eyeliner goes along the lash line on the outside of the lid. Don't line the inside of your rim or put it along your lash line right near your eye. This will cause irritation because you are putting a foreign substance next to a mucous membrane.

I would hurry and go to the doctor. You could seriously damage your eyes. You are either allergic or it's the brand. In any case ask your doctor about the product. He/she may suggest a brand for you. P.S DON'T USE THE PRODUCT AGAIN OR ANYTHING ELSE YOU THINK MAY HELP. Just rinse out your eye and see a doctor. Any thing else could make it worse. Oh and don't let anyone borrow or use your eyeliner. They may give you pink eye or something.

Go to bare escentuals online, their boutique or sephora cause their products are made from natural stuff OR I think there are drugstore brands that sell for sensitive eyes. Try almay or neutrogena. Another thing you can do is use eyeshadow and dip a stiff, wet eyeliner brush into. My sister does this. It's very common for people with sensitive eyes. I have a clinique purple color that I do this with and it stays longer then liner pencils. You can get any color eyeshadow. black, brown, green, etc.

wash your eyes gentally with warm water and a soft cloth. take an anti-hystamine like benadryl. you had an allergic reaction to it. don't ever use that brand again. i would try cover girl or mabelline. they are good brands and don't cost too much. and always remember to wash all the eyeliner off your eyes at the end of the day before bed.

buy a better eyeliner. chances are you're just allergic to cheap products. wouldn't you rather spend more than have allergies because of some cheap liner? i don't think so. next time you buy something for your face, don't be cheap cause that's your asset, and you should take good care of it. ;]

See your doctor immediately. The makeup could be old even though you purchased it new and bacteria could be in the bottle. Even if it is an allergy it sounds like it is a bad one. Call the doctor and be seen ASAP. If need be call the hospital and ask a nurse.
