I am 2 weeks late on my VERY regular 28 day cycle. I have been on the Pill Nortrell 777 for 5 years I havent missed a Pill. I have done 5 PG tests all negative??? I am peeing frequently , sore breasts. I have 3 children and all my other PG tests showed positve after 1 day of missed period.. 1st day of LMP was on AUG 29th on the white pills of my pill pack. I just stopped the pill after I missed my period just in case Im pregnant?? Now what? anyone else have this happen? Oh I also spotted for about 4 days around sep 15th ( right around OVulation) Could it have been implantation.
Husband & I were only together maybe 3 times in September?

Happened to my wife.
The doctor said her Prolactine levels were off the scale, and that if she continues to take pills, she will reach menopause 10 years faster.

get to a doctor, he will change your pills... (or worse, he will say no pill,s wich means you will have to find another way to protect from unwanted pregnencies, and if your guy is allergic to latex, like myself you're in deep trouble... )

It is completely possible to have your cycle be thrown off by stress, or if you've been sick and on other medications. After two weeks... I'd suggest seeing your doctor for a blood test just to be certain, especially if you were absolutely very regular for the last 5 years. Even if it isn't pregnancy, there may be something else going on that requires attention, and the earlier you can catch it all the better.

On the other hand... the pill isn't 100% effective... close, but not totally... I'm living proof of that! My mother was on the pill when she got pregnant with me.

It is true that stress can affect your menstrual cycle, however, you have symptoms of pregnancy and have skipped your period. I think you should go to the doctor. I had the same problem and my first son was born 30-some weeks later. I too never skipped a pill nor was I even late on taking it by more than an hour. It will not harm anything to go to the doctor and if you are not pregnant, prompt assessment of the problem will make appropriate treatment that much more effective.

You are probably not pregnant I went through 3 years of trying to get pregnant and took thousands of pregnancy test sometimes being two weeks late and thinking for sure I was pregnant and every test was accurate and I always ended up starting and stressing about starting will make you late to trust me. I am now 10 weeks pregnant and the 2 lines came up right away no negative test. and I was only 2 days late when I took it. So in my experience, if you get a negative test you are not pregnant.

You don't say how old you are, but is it possible that you are approaching an early menopause? Some women go through it very early, like before they are 40. What you're going through sounds a bit like pre-menopausal symptoms. Periods get very irregular for several years, and missed periods are very common at that time. I'm just finishing that period of time, and mine have been irregular for about 7 years now. The earlier you start having periods, as a rule, the earlier you go through menopause. Just a thought.

Some women have irregular periods for no reason. Sometimes stress can make you irregular. It sounds like you are totally freaking out about the whole miss period thing. C'mon seriously who takes 5 PG. tests? Just relax and if it doesn't come in a week call your Dr.

I doubt you are pregnant, but do think you should see your doctor. It sounds as if you have some hormonal changes taking place. It could be your thyroid as well. Your OBGYN can test for all of these things. I hope you are feeling better soon.
