I have a 1993 Volkswagon fox....yes it's the same one with the fuel pump problem...I did get that fixed. But now I get no spark from the coil. I have replaced the coil but still nothing. Does anyone have any other suggestion as to what I could check for now?
Thank you all for your time

supposing you have a repair manual?
try the primary fuse/ circuit breaker
only then will you know if your coil is bad or your distributor rotor/ cap need replacing

On most VW's from that era, you have a sensor in the distributor that sends a signal to the computer, which triggers an ignition module, which triggers the coil. If it's not the coil, it could be the sensor, computer, or ignition module.
