i use synthetic in both of my compressors for easier startup on cold days.

w-d 40 is bad for most rubber seals and is not a lubricant.

w-d stands for water displacement.

use a good air tool oil in your tools. I always use senco air tool oil.

any kind of light oil for the airline and tools, 3-in-1, wd40, etc.

do not use wd40. a light oil like shell telex. even sewing machine oil.
