But there is always something new under the Sun. Every day new children are born, new seeds are planted, new miracles take place, new memories are created, new hairs on the back of our necks. There is a first time for everything, because everything is constantly changing. No two experiences can be exactly alike. Looking at the world around us; if nothing ever changed, we would never move, speak, think, breathe, or live at all.

The question should be 'HOW could there be a first time for everything'. Both statements are used independently by egoists who want to 'put you down' in some way or when they feel they must self excuse their errors or convince you to do something. Both statements do not relate to actual knowledge, but suppositions based on the possibilities of infinity and the repetition of newborn humanity. We are all egoists in our childhood.

Well, quite simply. Things that get done are not new, but when one happens or someone does one of these things (e.g. when little Johnny gets drunk the first time) it's his 'first time'. There is no way of knowing if it was already done in the past as some research has shown. Also, you know they are two sayings and not logical categories.

Everything must have a beginning and an end. Also, for the individul who has not yet expierienced a certain something, that something would be knew to them, it would be their first expierence with that something.
